Do you have standard pricing?
Saxon Drilling can provide standard pricing for geotechnical drilling, however, we can tailor a quote to the specifics of the job to ensure the most competitive pricing.
What geographical regions do you cover?
Saxon Drilling is based in North Queensland, and therefore, most competitively services this region. However, our highly mobile operation will travel anywhere in Australia to provide truly national coverage.
How deep can you drill?
Our drill rigs have varying capabilities. Details can be viewed in the ‘Our Rigs’ page.
Do you install water bores (production bores)?
Saxon Drilling undertakes drilling and installation of monitoring wells and standpipes, but we do not install production bores.
Do you have a quality assurance, workplace health and safety, and environmental system?
Saxon Drilling’s workplace health and safety management plan is in accordance with AS/NZS 4801, Work Health and Safety Act 2011, Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011. Our quality assurance manual outlines the strategies and commitment that the business has in place to identify and act on potential events that are likely to impact adversely on operations, using risk management processes that are set out in accordance with AS/NZ 43560:2004. Saxon Drilling’s environmental policy is to act within the spirit and letter of environmental laws, while promoting excellence and best practices in the drilling industry. Saxon Drilling has developed an environmental policy statement to provide direction in achieving this core goal. All can be provided upon request.
Is Saxon Drilling affiliated with 'Saxon Energy Services'?
Saxon Drilling is an Australian, family owned company based in Cairns, QLD and is not affiliated with ‘Saxon Energy Services’.
Do you undertake overwater drilling?
Yes. Saxon Drilling is able to perform drilling activities over water. Barges for these activities can be provided or sourced.
